Lucas Allen is a percussion educator and performer based in Bowling Green, KY. He is currently employed as Percussion Specialist at the Bowling Green Independent School District, where he teaches percussionists in grades 6-12. He also serves as a percussion instructor with the Western Kentucky University Big Red Marching Band. On top of this, Lucas does freelance teaching and performing in and outside the area of Bowling Green. He plays often with Orchestra Kentucky of Bowling Green, and has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and the Richmond Symphony Orchestra.
